Chiropractic
The chiropractic adjustment has been and always will be the heart of the healthcare offered at Banker Chiropractic. Chiropractic is a branch of the healing arts that helps the body to heal itself. This is achieved through the chiropractic adjustment.
The adjustment is a painless procedure applied to a joint of the spine, arms, and/or legs to help relieve stiffness and pain. Not all patients are created equally. We all have our own different conditions and preferences. At Banker Chiropractic, we employ a variety of different adjusting techniques. These range from the more classical chiropractic manual manipulation to instrument assisted adjusting. Having a variety of techniques allows us to customize your treatment plan to fit you.
What are the benefits of chiropractic?
Pain relief
Decreased joint stiffness
Reduced tension headaches and migraines
Better posture
Increased range of motion
Improved athletic performance
Slowing of arthritis progression
Massage
Massage therapy is the perfect compliment to the chiropractic adjustment. There is only one reason that the body has muscles, and that is to move the joints of the body. Conversely, there is one reason to have joints, and that is to have the muscles move them. It is for this reason that we rarely see a patient that has just a muscular or a joint problem. The two almost always go hand in hand.
Receiving a massage prior to a chiropractic adjustment or just on its own will help to balance the muscular system as well as act as a therapeutic relaxation technique.

They will also council their patients in exercise strategies for overall health.

Young Living Essential Oils
Essential oils are one of the oldest forms of medicine used throughout history other than traditional herbal medicine. In fact, essential oils are just a concentrated form of the active ingredients distilled from herbs, spices, and plants. The concentration ranges from 100 to 10,000 times the potency of the plant alone. That makes oils a powerful source for healing potential and wellbeing. That is also why essential oils are used at only one or two drops at a time.
At Banker Chiropractic, we use the Young Living brand of essential oils. This is because we are convinced of their leadership and pioneering in the industry along with their rigorous quality and purity standards for their oils. Many essential oils on the market are adulterated, diluted, or only perfume grade and not suitable for any kind of therapeutic use. On the other hand, Young Living oils are so pure that they have a line labeled safe enough for internal usage. Young Living stands by their Seed to Seal commitment to quality. They are the only brand that has complete control over the seed selection, planting, cultivation, oil distilling, bottling, and distribution of their products.
We offer classes throughout the month on topics ranging from first time essential oil use to more advanced oil applications like sports injury relief, stress reduction, and detoxification. Like us on Facebook to find keep informed of upcoming classes.

About
Dennis L. Banker, DC, DABCO
Dennis Banker was plagued with chronic back pain following a 1973 skiing accident at Schweitzer Mountain in Idaho. After being told that he would just have to “live with the pain” he decided to try a series of treatments from his friend, and tennis partner, who happened to be a chiropractor.
After a few visits to the chiropractor’s office, he felt better than he had in years. It was at that point Dr. Dennis decided to change careers.
Dr. Dennis Banker graduated from Central Washington University in 1971 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. Soon following graduation, he became certified as a medical technologist and supervised the hospital laboratory in Prosser, WA. Deciding in a career change, he enrolled at Western States Chiropractic College and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1981. His first practice was located in Hermiston, OR. In 1991, Dr. Dennis completed a three-year long course of study and passed the national board exams to obtain his Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists degree.
Dr. Dennis has been practicing in Wenatchee, WA since 1994. His love of the outdoors makes the Wenatchee area an ideal place for him and his wife Barb to call home. When Dr. Dennis is not in the office, he can be found hiking, camping, fishing and hunting in the surrounding areas.
Eric L. Banker, DC, CCSP
Dr. Eric Banker has grown up with chiropractic being a major part of his life since before he can remember. He was three years old when his father, Dr. Dennis Banker, graduated from chiropractic college. At a very young age he would often spend time at his father’s office, fascinated while looking at the anatomy text books. One of his most significant benefits of chiropractic care was being treated for exercise induced asthma to compete in the running leg of Wenatchee’s Ridge to River Relay race. There was never any doubt what he wanted his career to be.
Dr. Eric graduated from Central Washington University in 2000 with a degree in Biology. He immediately went into studying chiropractic at Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, OR. Dr. Eric joined his father treating patients in Wenatchee in 2004.
Dr. Eric’s love of sports of all kinds led him to further his studies in sports specific injuries. In 2010, he became a board certified sports physician with the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. Since then he has worked with the local Wenatchee Valley Rams football and Apple City Roller Derby teams.
Dr. Eric and his wife Angela have a daughter, Emma. On the weekends, the three of them can be found at church, hiking, and camping in Central Washington.
